Can't wait to see John Maine and the Mets play
I'll be screaming my head off in my own kind of way

Gotta get my NY Mets fix
Even though I now live out of state
Can't miss seeing Rollins stroll to the plate
The bathrooms will be crowded and the wind will be cold
The pundits will say Moises is old
And nothing will wipe my face of it's grin
If I should see in person my beloved Mets win
