Transplanted Ex-Met Update - Izzy Down

St. Louis closer and Transplanted ex-Met Jason Isringhausen will not pitch again this season because of a bad left hip. Taking over for the closer's role will be Transplanted ex-Met Braden Looper.

Coincidentally, this week the Giants announced that their closer, Transplanted Ex-Met Armando Benitez would be out for the rest of the year and that another Transplanted Ex-Met, Mike Stanton, would serve as closer for the rest of the year.

If I were Jorge Julio, I would take it easy this week. And be extra careful if he sees Tony Clark soft tossing in the bullpen!
